How to connect AirStudio S1 to your phone

Method 1: USB-C direct connection

Best for:

  • Music production
  • Multi-Track Recording
  • DAW recording
  • Vocal and backing track separation

Steps

  1. Connect the AirStudio S1 main unit directly to your phone using a USB-C cable.
  2. Open HISONG Link, Cubasis LE, GarageBand, BandLab, or another compatible recording app.
  3. Select AirStudio S1 as the input device if the app requires manual input selection.
  4. Start recording.

Method 2: RX Mini wireless connection

Best for:

  • Vlogging
  • Livestreaming
  • Mobile video recording
  • Lightweight wireless recording into a phone

Steps

  1. Plug RX Mini into your phone’s USB-C port.
  2. Pair AirStudio S1 with RX Mini.
  3. Open your video, streaming, or recording app.
  4. Record with AirStudio S1 as the wireless USB microphone input.

Method 3: RX Plus wireless connection

Best for:

  • Phone + camera workflows
  • Livestreaming
  • Speaker or mixer output
  • Advanced routing

Steps

  1. Connect RX Plus to your phone through USB-C.
  2. Pair AirStudio S1 with RX Plus.
  3. Open your recording, livestreaming, or camera app.
  4. Use RX Plus as the wireless microphone input.

Bluetooth is used for control and backing track integration, but not for professional microphone audio transmission to the phone
